The La Sal Mountains are host to some of the finest backcountry terrain in Utah. Mt. Peale (12,721) the third tallest peak in Utah, Mt. Mellethin (12,645 ft) , and Tukuhnikivatz (12,482) are just a short tour away from the parking lot. Our programs are designed to accommodate a wide range of experience levels and skiing background. Whether you're a seasoned resort veteran looking to try the backcountry for the first time or an experienced backcountry enthusiast who just wants somebody to show you the hidden powder stashes, our ski guides have what it takes to put together you custom Utah ski tour!

- Travel to Moab, Utah
- Backcountry touring equipment; skis, skins, packs etc. These are all available to rent from our partner shop Backcountry Experience. Additional fees may apply. Please inquire for more information.
- 3% federal land use surcharge

Prerequisites:
- Skiers should be in good physical condition.
- There are a lifetime of ski tours with different difficulties in the La Sals. Please get in touch with us to talk about what tour is right for you. If need be, we would like to ski with you prior to La Sal tour to help ensure that you are up to the challenge.
- If you do not possess these skills or need review, we recommend doing a skills course with us in Colorado or Utah prior to your La Sal ski tour.
Registration:
- To secure your spot on this trip you will need to fill out our domestic registration packets. A 50% deposit is required.
