Backpacking and Trekking with Kling Mountain Guides

Let’s go trekking! As close as can be to as far as you can imagine...

Let Kling Mountain Guides, LLC put together your custom trekking adventure. Trips can be one night to as long as your knees can take it!

Utah Canyon Country Exploration and BackpackTrips.

Our most popular and favorite trekking adventures are led through the Canyon Country of Southeastern Utah. This remote area of Utah offers endless potential for exploration. The canyons that we lead trips through are filled with ruins from a previous era. Walk the canyon’s twisting floor as you look up an ancient Kivas, petroglyphs, and pictographs. Adventure is not in the guide book and beauty is not on the map! Don’t choose to go to Utah’s unique Canyon country and just follow the standard routes. Come exploring with us! The routes we choose are not the typical ones with our own variations not found in guide books. This makes for a more remote experience and a guaranteed adventure!

The best time to explore the desert is in the spring from March through May or the fall from September through November. It is also during these times the temperatures and weather patterns are the most conducive to backpacking. Trips are between three and five days long.

There are many classic multi-day backpacking loops in the Cedar Mesa and Grand Gulch areas. We've listed our most popular loops here, but we can also schedule other itineraries as requested. The pictures below are from the canyons we explorer and love. Come with us and take some of your own digital memories! All prices listed bellow are cost per person with a two person minimum.
