Climbing and Skiing Rental Equipment

At Kling Mountain Guides, we realize that sometimes you don't want or even need a guide.  That's why we rent equipment for you to use on your own.  Whether you are going for a day, a week, or even a month give us a call to rent some equipment for your own adventure!  We rent avalanche: Backcoutnry Access (BCA) avalanche beacons, Backcountry Access shovels,Backcountry Access probes, Black Diamond and Scarpa ski boots, and even sleds!  Call for more info on the different ski and climbing equipment rental packages.

 

Along with equipment rentals, we also can print custom maps on waterproof paper to help you find your way.  Call for details!

At Kling Mountain Guides we like to keep things high end and as local as possible.  That's why work with Backcountry Experience (BCEXP).  BCEXP is a locally owned and operated climbing and skiing.  The main shop is located in the heart of downtown Durango with a smaller shop located in the Purgatory Plaza at Durango Mountain Resort. Weather you want: a high end custom ski boot fit exactly for your needs a backpack to hike the Colorado Trail with, the latest in technical climbing gear, or just a new pair of wool socks, BCEXP has you covered.  Stop on by and say hi to their expert staff.   They are located at 1205 Camino Del Rio across from City Market South. Just look for the crow!
